Día Mundial de la Libertad de Prensa: los Pueblos Indígenas exigimos respeto a nuestros medios de comunicación
El 3 de mayo se conmemora el Día Mundial de la Libertad de Prensa, proclamado en 1993 por la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas con el objetivo de celebrar los principios fundamentales de la libertad de prensa, evaluar su ejercicio a nivel mundial, defender los medios de comunicación de los ataques sobre su independencia y rendir homenaje a los periodistas que han perdido sus vidas en el desempeño de su profesión.
