Ellos han realizado esta producción tomando en cuenta su derecho a enseñar y aprender cualquier idioma Indígena, tal y como lo indica el El artículo 13 de la Declaración de las Naciones Unidas sobre los derechos de los pueblos Indígenas donde establece que los pueblos tienen derecho a revitalizar, utilizar, fomentar y transmitir a las generaciones futuras sus lenguas, tradiciones orales, sistemas de escritura y literaturas.

Durante la pandemia por Covid-19, en muchos países se decretaron periodos de confinamiento con el objetivo de evitar contagios y una mayor expansión de la enfermedad. Aunque en un principio se creyó que sería una medida temporal, en algunos lugares esta situación se alargó durante meses y actividades fundamentales como la educación se realizaron de manera virtual. 

Reyna Ortiz Montealegre es una mujer Indígena que ha dedicado varios años de su vida a trabajar en la producción radiofónica, actualmente es colaboradora de la radio comunitaria Tachi Ñuu Itia Ta’nu, ubicada en la Montaña de Guerrero, México. En este programa realizado en el marco del Día Internacional de los Pueblos Indígenas, Reyna nos platica sobre su trabajo y, además, nos canta en lengua tu’un savi. ¡Te invitamos a escucharla!
