La Declaración de las Naciones Unidas sobre los Derechos de los Pueblos Indígenas fue adoptada en Nueva York el 13 de septiembre de 2007. La Declaración contiene los derechos colectivos e individuales de los Pueblos Indígenas, especialmente sus derechos a sus tierras, bienes, recursos vitales, territorios y recursos, a su cultura, identidad y lengua, al empleo, la salud, la educación y a determinar libremente su condición política y su desarrollo económico.

01. What is Free, Prior, Informed Consent? (Nepali) पुर्व सुसूचित जानकारी सहितको स्वतन्त्र मन्जुरी भनेको के हो ?

पुर्व सुसूचित जानकारी सहितको स्वतन्त्र मन्जुरी अधिकार भनेको सरकारले आदिवासी जनजातिहरुको भुमि, भुक्षेत्र, प्राकृतिक स्रोत साधनमाथी कुनै किसिमको विकास कार्यक्रमहरु आयोजना गर्नु अगाडी आदिवासीहरुसँग बिना करकाप परामर्श गरिनुपर्छ र उनीहरुको आवाजलाई सुनिनुपर्दछ भन्ने मान्यता हो । The right to Free, Prior and Informed Consent means that governments have to inform Indigenous communities about any development projects they want to start in their territories, and listen to their opinions before beginning the project. International Day Of The Worlds Indigenous Peoples 2020 - A Conversation With Francisco Cali Tzay

The COVID-19 pandemic has already posed a grave health threat to the world's Indigenous Peoples as they already experience poor access to essential healthcare services. Indigenous Peoples globally are seeking their own solutions to this pandemic. Indigenous Rights Radio program producer Dev Kumar Sunuwar caught up with Francisco Cali Tzay, the newly appointed UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples who discussed COVID-19’s impacts on Indigenous communities.

Día Internacional de los Pueblos Indígenas 2020

Día Internacional de los pueblos Indígenas. El mandato de este día indica que: Se celebre cada año el Día Internacional de las Poblaciones Indígenas el 9 de agosto y alienta a los gobiernos a observar el Día en cada país.

Esta población se encuentra sin duda entre las poblaciones más vulnerables y perjudicadas del mundo. En la actualidad la situación de la población Indígena se ha visto mucho más desfavorecida debido a la crisis sanitaria por Covid 19.
