La Organización Mundial de la Salud ha señalado que el coronavirus ha causado enfermedades que van desde el resfriado común hasta enfermedades más graves, en muchos casos ha causado hasta la muerte.

Desde el comienzo de la pandemia de COVID-19, en las redes sociales comenzó a circular una gran cantidad de información sobre esta enfermedad, su origen, sus síntomas, la forma de combatirla, las secuelas que deja a quienes se han contagiado, el proceso de vacunación para hacer frente a la misma y otros temas relacionados con esta situación que se vive a nivel mundial.

Fossil fuels and other conventional energy sources release many greenhouse gases that harm the environment. For this reason, there is global talk of the need for a transition towards the use of cleaner energy sources and the development of technologies such as battery storage systems, and other cleaner sources of energy. Jitsvinger (real name Quintin Goliath) is a celebrated South African artist from the Cape Flats known for fusing hip hop, poetry, theatre, and storytelling into a distinctive performance style rooted in Afrikaaps—the vernacular Afrikaans dialect of Cape Town. In this radio interview, Jitsvinger tells us about how his heritage influenced his music. We hear how Indigenous Khoi and San languages mixed with Dutch and languages from others who were brought to South Africa as slaves, contributed to the formation of Afrikaans, and how this heritage influences his music.

En Perú, más del 30% de la población se identifica como Indígena, además, existen y resisten más de 55 Pueblos Indígenas y aún se escuchan y hablan 48 idiomas nativos, entre ellos el Aymara,  con al menos 450 mil hablantes en este país.

¿Qué entendemos por derechos de los Pueblos Indígenas? Los derechos son las facultades y libertades que protegen y favorecen a las personas o colectivos. Los Pueblos Indígenas hemos logrado, gracias a nuestra organización y lucha, el reconocimiento de derechos fundamentales como tener nuestro propio idioma, cultura y religión, así como mantener la tenencia del territorio que tradicionalmente hemos habitado. 

A lo largo de dos años de la pandemia por Covid-19, las mujeres han tenido un papel fundamental, respondiendo con eficacia a las necesidades que trajo consigo esta contingencia sanitaria. No obstante, las dificultades para el ejercicio de su derecho a la participación política han aumentado, enfrentándose a un incremento en las jornadas de cuidados hacia sus familias, así como mayor marginación y violencia. 

De acuerdo con la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), en la actualidad en el mundo se hablan cerca de 7 mil idiomas, de los cuales 6 mil 700 son lenguas Indígenas. El Aymara se habla en el sur de Perú, en el norte de Chile y Bolivia, y se debe resaltar que no sólo es un idioma, sino también es una gran nación con cultura y cosmovisión propia.
