This report is in the Igbo language. In many instances, students had to drop out of school because of illness, or having to take care of a sick loved one. The report was produced by Ugonna Edeani and script written by Chinenye Anichebe and reported by John Chikwere Oguejiofor.

Ante esta situación alarmante se han acelerado algunas medidas para evitar que más personas se sigan contagiando, entre ellas la aplicación de vacunas contra covid-19, la cual en muchos países ya se ha administrado a personal médico, servidores públicos y personas de la tercera edad.
