“Cabildo abierto”, noticiero de Ximai Radio, en hñahñu

La pandemia por Covid-19 se ha reducido drásticamente. Sin embargo, a nivel mundial nos seguimos enfrentando a distintas problemáticas derivadas de esta contingencia sanitaria. Actualmente, la generación de “nueva basura”, como cubrebocas, caretas y botellas de gel antibacterial está causando mucho daño al medio ambiente. De acuerdo con diferentes organizaciones, esta situación nos está llevando a un retroceso en cuanto a la acumulación de plásticos, producto de una cultura de usar y tirar, sumada a una tasa de reciclaje poco significativa o efectiva.

The WCIP was a meeting of the UN General Assembly where the concerns of Indigenous Peoples were discussed, along with best practices on how to implement the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

This series of 24 PSAs is based on the Outcome Document of the World Conference on Indigenous Peoples, which took place in September of 2014 in New York. The PSAs highlight specific passages of the Outcome Document in an effort to inform audiences of exactly what the document contains and encourage action.
