“Agua y libertad” es una serie de Radioasta de Baja California, México, que tiene como objetivo informar sobre la lucha por la defensa del agua en la región de Mexicali. En los tiempos antiguos nuestros abuelos y abuelas se preocupaban por el cuidado constante de la tierra. Cuando llegaba el tiempo de sembrar pedían permiso con rezos tradicionales, trabajaban sus cultivos con sus propias manos y como resultado se cosechaban alimentos nutritivos y libres de contaminación; sin embargo, en la actualidad mucha de la siembra, especialmente la industrial, se realiza con semillas modificadas genéticamente y con la ayuda de agroquímicos que han resultado dañinos para el medio ambiente y la salud.
