Asur Radio PSA - 10 (Language - Asur)

In this audio, Ravi Oraon of Jobhipat (Netarhat) village is telling that during the first phase of the COVID epidemic, he was working as a daily wage laborer in Gumla city. When the lockdown was imposed, many Adivasi laborers like him faced a crisis of food and other necessities. Then all of them decided to return to the village and reached their village after walking for miles.

This audio narrates the story of Asinta Asur of Jobhipat village of Netarhat (India). She is telling us how during the first phase of the COVID pandemic, many people of the Asur community like her who went to cities like Ranchi, Gumla for daily wages, how they all faced the difficult situation of those times. How they traveled about 200 kms on foot and returned to their villages.

La lucha de los Pueblos Indígenas en Costa Rica: Sergio Rojas y el Consejo Ditsö Iriria Ajkönuk Wakpa

En Costa Rica hay ocho naciones Indígenas que habitan 24 regiones territoriales. En las últimas décadas, la lucha de estos pueblos por la recuperación de sus territorios se ha intensificado, especialmente a partir de los procesos de recuperación del territorio iniciados hace más de 12 años por el pueblo bribri de Salitre, cuyo líder, Sergio Rojas, fue asesinado en marzo del 2019.
